Local Furniture Maker Featured in Hit ABC Show
Portland, PA, April 23, 2006 - Noted northeastern Pennsylvania furniture manufacturer, Frederick Duckloe & Bros has been selected to participate in ABC's hit television show, Extreme Makeover Home Edition which will appear on a special 2-hr program on Sunday, April 23, 2006, at 8:00 PM.
The episode is the first ever filmed in Pennsylvania. The house to be renovated on the show is located in the Philadelphia area. Duckloe furniture will be used to furnish the home. Featured in the show will be Duckloe's Chief Justice Arm Chairs, which are exact replicas of chairs in Independence Hall, a Bishop White Settee, also an adaptation of historical importance, rocking chairs and their original design "Star" tables.
