Our Pennsylvania Country Table is an adaptation from a locally found old farm table. The classic design, in solid cherry, can be used in either kitchen or dining room and 18th century or contemporary settings.
This extension mechanism is beautiful in its simplicity; two ash supports are pulled out from each end. These supports are for the extension leaves. On the bottom of the leaves are dowel pins that fit into holes on the supports. A small tab on the bottom of the leaf slides under the table to prevent the leaf from flipping off the supports.
