Children size Windsors were probably made only on special order during the 18th Century. Not many are found today, and collectors of 18th Century Windsors consider themselves lucky to have a good one in their collection. Duckloe children's size Windsors are made to 3/4 size scale. Scale Model Windsors

Scale Model Windsors (above and right) can be traced back to two colonial uses. Traveling salesman usd them as samples for customers unable to visit an established chairmaker. These half scale chairs and benches are also perfect size for dolls. We are sure some scale models found their way into the playtime of young girls.
