Windsor chairs can be used in any room. The most impressive use of Windsor chairs has to be the dining room. To see a complete set of either all side chairs, all arm chairs, or a combination of side chairs and arm chairs can only be described as impressive. The Windsor chair was the first contribution to American furniture design in the 18th century. It is just as impressive a work of functional art today as it was more than 200 years ago.
